Additionally, the Department collaborates with multiple interdisciplinary programs: Women's Studies (Master's level), Medieval and Renaissance Studies (Master's level), and Canadian Studies (Ph.D. level), enabling students to develop expertise in these specialized areas.
The University of Ottawa stands out as an ideal institution for doctoral-level Canadian Studies specialization due to its academic excellence in related disciplines, bilingual environment, and strategic location in Canada's capital. This program particularly benefits humanities and social sciences students seeking to enhance their disciplinary knowledge with cross-disciplinary perspectives.
Further details can be found on the Department of French's official website.
While the master's program accommodates both full-time and part-time enrollment, the doctoral program requires full-time commitment.
All graduate programs adhere to the university's standard academic regulations.
