The Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa, home to around 1,600 students and 150 faculty members (both full-time and part-time), offers a dynamic learning atmosphere where educators, learners, and community collaborators work together to advance innovative graduate studies.
This initiative enables educators to refine their instructional abilities, allowing them to acquire supplementary certifications acknowledged by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) beyond their foundational qualifications.
Educators may enroll in Additional Qualification Courses (AQ Courses) to advance their expertise in particular grade levels or subject areas, while Additional Basic Qualification (ABQ) courses aim to deepen understanding of curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation within specific educational divisions.
