Aspiring students can enroll in joint Master of Computer Science (MCS) or Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science (PhD) programs through a collaboration between the University of Ottawa's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Carleton University's School of Computer Science, administered by the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Computer Science (OCICS).
OCICS oversees these graduate programs and facilitates academic cooperation between the two institutions. Alongside faculty from both computer science departments, the Institute includes members with computer science backgrounds from various other academic units.
As the world's largest English-French bilingual university, the University of Ottawa benefits from its prime location in Canada's capital, offering unique access to national institutions and resources.
Have a master's degree in Computer Science (with thesis or equivalent in terms of scholarly publications) with a minimum average of B+ (75%).
