These programs equip candidates for diverse teaching and research careers, both in academic and non-academic settings. Throughout their training, students cultivate a critical perspective toward published research and their own work. Graduates gain deep expertise in their specialization while developing a broad understanding of related fields connected to their research. They must establish professional credibility by demonstrating advanced research capabilities in their chosen discipline.
The Department collaborates in interdisciplinary programs including Bioinformatics (master's level), Human and Molecular Genetics (master's and PhD levels), and Pathology and Experimental Medicine (master's and PhD levels).
The PhD program also offers a Combined MD/PhD option, enabling students to earn both a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine and a medical degree. Additional details are available through the Faculty of Medicine's website.
Have a master’s degree in Biology (or equivalent) with a minimum average of 75% (B+).
