The University of Ottawa's Faculty of Engineering stands at the forefront of engineering and computer science education and research, offering students exceptional degree programs and hands-on learning opportunities that equip them to address society's evolving challenges.
Founded in 1983, the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (OCIMAE) merges the research capabilities of the University of Ottawa's Mechanical Engineering Department with Carleton University's Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department.
Research projects may be carried out in English, French, or both languages, determined by the primary language of the supervising professor and their research team.
Both university campuses share research resources, allowing students to benefit from faculty expertise, academic courses, and facilities at both institutions.
Hold a master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or the equivalent) with a minimum average of B+.
