This program offers you the chance to interact with and gain insights from distinguished professors, both domestic and international. You'll build essential understanding of criminology and the Criminal Justice System, while delving deeper into specialized areas like carceral studies, elite crimes, cultural aspects of crime, and social intervention strategies.
In your final year, you can focus on subjects that interest you most through three pathways: standard coursework, practical field experience, or academic research. Opting for our distinctive research track allows you to join four specialized seminars led by faculty actively working in those research fields. Throughout these seminars, you'll develop and execute your own research project with guidance from supervising professors.

Qualification Requirements
You must have an Ontario high school diploma with at least six 4U-4M or DU-level courses to be eligible for admission to the first year of university. Please note:

International baccalaureate diploma
Applicants enrolled in the International Baccalaureatenorth_eastexternal link Diploma program are eligible for admission if they have completed (or are in the process of completing) the full IB program and meet the following conditions:
Have passed six subjects (including the prerequisites for your program of choice) with at least three at the Standard Level and three at the Higher Level.
Have a minimum average of 29 points. The minimum average might be higher depending on the program you have chosen.

TOEFL - IBT - Overall Score 86 with writing section score 22.
