The Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences program takes a comprehensive approach to health education. Students gain foundational knowledge in biosciences, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and learn interdisciplinary strategies for analyzing health determinants. This distinctive curriculum empowers students to develop creative solutions for complex health challenges across all ages, both in Canada and globally.
The Healthcare Technologies and Innovation specialization equips students with both theoretical understanding and practical skills to assess healthcare technologies' potential and constraints. After completing this track, students can analyze the effectiveness of medical technologies, including digital tools for clinical research and healthcare delivery, master health technology evaluation techniques, and thoughtfully examine the societal and ethical impacts of medical innovations.
Graduates will be ideally positioned to enter health-focused master's programs or secure positions in government health departments, private healthcare institutions, NGOs, or community health initiatives. The program establishes a strong base for advanced education in medical, dental, pharmaceutical, or rehabilitation fields. Our multidisciplinary approach cultivates highly skilled, well-rounded future healthcare practitioners.
