Indigenous Studies focuses on understanding the experiences, historical narratives, and worldviews of Indigenous communities. It delves into their intellectual heritage and philosophies as expressed through cultural values, oral traditions, and native languages. Our faculty, students, and research team work to illuminate Indigenous perspectives on political, cultural, and intellectual self-determination. Throughout the program, you'll critically examine the colonial structures that shape Indigenous lives across national and global contexts.
