The communication bachelor's program blends theoretical foundations with hands-on learning, featuring coursework in two primary disciplines—media studies (covering social and mass media impacts, video/multimedia creation, audience analysis, and communication regulations) and organizational communication (focusing on corporate and institutional messaging, interpersonal dynamics, healthcare communication, emergency response strategies, PR, and marketing). Our cross-disciplinary curriculum gives students a comprehensive understanding of how media systems, human interaction, cultural analysis, technological developments, policy frameworks, economic factors, and public relations intersect.

Qualification Requirements
You must have an Ontario high school diploma with at least six 4U-4M or DU-level courses to be eligible for admission to the first year of university. Please note:

International baccalaureate diploma
Applicants enrolled in the International Baccalaureatenorth_eastexternal link Diploma program are eligible for admission if they have completed (or are in the process of completing) the full IB program and meet the following conditions:
Have passed six subjects (including the prerequisites for your program of choice) with at least three at the Standard Level and three at the Higher Level.
Have a minimum average of 29 points. The minimum average might be higher depending on the program you have chosen.
IELTS - overall score 6.5 with minimum writing section score 6.5
TOEFL - IBT - Overall Score 86 with writing section score 22.
