The Bachelor of Health Sciences is a four-year undergraduate program featuring diverse courses centered on health science, acknowledging health as a multifaceted concept that transcends simplistic definitions or single-discipline approaches. The curriculum, offered through the School of Health Sciences, integrates interdisciplinary learning across life sciences, social sciences, behavioral sciences, ethics, and law, equipping students with comprehensive knowledge about health dimensions. Certain courses form the essential 'core' curriculum, establishing fundamental health concepts, while others allow specialization through one of three concentration areas:
i) Biomedical Studies
ii) Community and Population Health - Environmental Health
iii) Community and Population Health - Aboriginal and Rural Health
Completing either Community and Population Health Major prepares graduates for careers or advanced studies in healthcare management, administration, health informatics, or public health sectors.
