Applicants typically hold a graduate degree in engineering or applied sciences. PhD candidates must maintain excellent academic performance and successfully complete a Comprehensive Examination within their first year, evaluated by their doctoral committee.

Program Length (full-time): 1-2 years (MEng); 2 years (MScE); 3-4 years (PhD).
Admission Periods: Fall/Winter for MEng; Fall/Winter/Summer for MScE and PhD.

Internet Based TOEFL Minimum score of 94 including the Test of Written English TWE minimum score of 25. Paper Based minimum score of 550 including the Test of Written English TWE minimum score 40. TOEFL ITP is not accepted. IELTS International English Language Testing System Academic Module – Online version not accepted. Minimum score of band 7. Duolingo and TOEFL Home Edition are no longer accepted. MELAB - The Michigan English Language Assessment Battery - Minimum score of 85 percent.
