The Mathematics-Physics program at UNB is an interdisciplinary offering that allows students to explore both mathematics and physics simultaneously. This flexible curriculum provides comprehensive exposure to subjects from both departments while accommodating personal academic interests.
Available as both Major and Honours tracks, these rigorous programs are designed for high-achieving students. The Honours Mathematics-Physics curriculum incorporates all mandatory coursework from both the Honours Physics and Honours Mathematics programs.

Qualification Requirements
Students must complete high school for admission to the University of New Brunswick. They must complete six specific high school courses, according to their program of choice. UNB takes the overall average of the high school grades achieved in these six courses to calculate the student’s "minimum admission average", which is used to determine admissibility.

Senior Math, including Pre-Calculus

Senior Chemistry
1 of Senior Physics, Senior Biology or Senior Geology (Senior Physics is required for entry into Health Sciences)
1 elective from group 1 or 2
Minimum admission average: 75% (The average marks in Pre-Calculus Math, Chemistry and the best other Science course must be at least 75 %.)
