The enigmas of number theory and the geometry of curved spaces: these fields hold significant relevance for data security, computer engineering, and cosmic studies. Throughout history, through both theoretical and practical research, mathematicians have quietly driven progress in science and technology, with the value of mathematical education now widely acknowledged by employers and policymakers globally.
The Mathematics program offers options as a major, double major, or honors track within a four-year Bachelor of Science degree. Additional choices include Minor degrees, featuring specialized options like Financial Mathematics and Computational Studies.
The mathematics major curriculum equips students for careers across industries, public sector roles, or educational fields. Mathematics students are encouraged to develop complementary skills in applied domains such as physical sciences, computer technology, engineering, or business administration.
