Since 1957, UNB's Faculty of Kinesiology has pioneered education in movement science, recreation, athletics, and health promotion across Canada. This degree serves as ideal preparation for students pursuing healthcare careers like medicine, rehabilitation therapies, or sports medicine, as well as those interested in ergonomics, fitness instruction, education, or athletic coaching.

Experiential education
The kinesiology program emphasizes practical learning through diverse opportunities:

From first year onward, students immediately apply classroom concepts in laboratory settings through activities like Motion Biomechanics Analysis, Motor Skill Evaluations, Performance Anxiety Studies, and Aerobic Capacity Testing. These hands-on components extend beyond dedicated lab courses, with interactive classroom exercises and field-based projects enhancing traditional lecture content.
