Our surroundings constantly shape our experiences, embedding spatial data into every facet of human life. Through Geodesy and Geomatics, you'll examine terrestrial information to address intricate challenges. This focused discipline proves invaluable across diverse applications such as: combating environmental crises, developing disaster alert mechanisms, city development projects, infrastructure construction, navigation technology management, epidemiological research, forensic reconstruction, and countless other implementations.
Students can pursue Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering as either a primary focus or supplementary study within our four-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering program. Since 1854, when UNB pioneered engineering education in Canada, our Faculty has consistently equipped graduates for professional achievement in engineering fields.
