UNB's Biology-Chemistry program is among its diverse interdisciplinary offerings, enabling students to explore both biological and chemical sciences through a unified curriculum. This flexible program allows customization based on personal academic interests while providing foundational knowledge across biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Students examine life systems ranging from cellular processes to ecological relationships, while learning to apply chemical methodologies for molecular-level analysis and manipulation. The curriculum incorporates core chemistry subdisciplines to enhance understanding of biochemical, medical, and pharmaceutical applications. Offered as a four-year BSc degree, students can pursue major or honors options through two specialized tracks: the Pre-Health Profession (PHP) pathway or the Comprehensive pathway. Undergraduate applicants whose native language is not English require the following English language proficiency minimum scores for direct entry into most academic programs.
