Step into the ancient worlds of Greece and Rome by exploring how their art, architecture, myths, history, science, philosophy, and languages have influenced modern Western civilization. Through literature and archaeological discoveries, you'll gain new perspectives on these foundational cultures. UNB provides two distinct pathways for studying classical antiquity. Those aiming for graduate studies can focus on mastering ancient Greek and Latin, analyzing original texts in their native languages. Students pursuing professional careers after their BA can choose a humanities track featuring history, mythology, philosophy, and art history. Both options include opportunities to take archaeology courses.
