Pursue a master's degree in physiology and pathophysiology at the University of Manitoba, where you'll develop a deep understanding of scientific methodology through their engaging MSc program. This thesis-driven master's program concentrates on four key physiological domains: respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine, and neurophysiology. It includes an essential 3-credit biomedical trainee skills course to enrich graduate studies and improve student outcomes.
The following are minimum requirements to be considered for entry into the Physiology and Pathophysiology (MSc) program.
To be considered for admission to the Physiology and Pathophysiology (MSc), you must have either:
a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two full years of study.
a three-year bachelor's degree, plus the successful completion of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Medical Physiology and Pathophysiology with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two full years of study.
Graduate advisors
To enter this program, you must have the provisional acceptance of a qualified graduate advisor.
As part of the department's graduate student approval process, an advisor must indicate that they are able to provide at least the minimum level and duration of financial support most recently approved by a majority vote of Department Council members for an MSc.
Currently, this is $19,000 per year for two years, but please contact us to confirm approved level and duration of support.
