The fields of astronomy and astrophysics explore the cosmos, including galaxies, stars, and phenomena like stellar formation, supernovae generating high-energy cosmic rays and pulsars, and galactic rotation indicating dark matter. This program is enriched by a planetarium and two observatories. The Major degree provides substantial specialization in Physics & Astronomy while maintaining ample flexibility for students to pursue other academic interests throughout their studies.
