Our jazz education method mirrors the creativity and energy of the genre itself. Through continuous partnerships with top jazz artists, students master the language of jazz. They develop their skills in an imaginative, team-oriented setting while customizing their learning journey to match their goals. Winnipeg's international jazz reputation has grown thanks to our Bachelor of Jazz Studies program, which consistently provides performance and collaboration opportunities with seasoned professionals. These experiences allow students to engage in the artistic teamwork and lively exchanges that define jazz. The extensive curriculum emphasizes four essential skills for professional jazz musicians: performing, composing, arranging, and teaching. Our graduates leave prepared to excel in any of these fields.
