Finance explores how individuals and organizations make financial decisions regarding investments, portfolio management, and corporate finance while navigating risks and financial innovations in a changing business landscape. As a finance student, you'll examine topics including corporate and personal finance, investment strategies, global financial systems, fintech advancements, financial markets, and derivative instruments. The program enhances your proficiency with Excel, statistical analysis tools, trading platforms, and portfolio management software, integrating knowledge from economics, accounting, and ethical business practices to prepare for careers in banking, investment analysis, international finance, trading, risk assessment, and related fields. A distinctive feature is the hands-on experience offered through our Student Managed Investment Fund. The Dhillon School of Business provides flexible pathways: a 10-course Management Certificate with finance specialization, a 20-course (roughly two-year) Finance Diploma, or a comprehensive 40-course (approximately four-year) Bachelor's degree in Business with a finance major, available to high school graduates, college transfers, or those pursuing a second degree. Certificate and diploma students can seamlessly transition into the degree program.
