The Master of Public Health (MPH) is a professional graduate program spanning five semesters that provides both classroom instruction and hands-on training in public health disciplines. Students gain expertise in epidemiology, disease control, emergency response, research methods, and translating scientific findings into public policy. Designed to equip graduates for public health careers, this program appeals to science graduates pursuing public health roles as well as current professionals (such as doctors, veterinarians, nurses, and health inspectors) seeking skill enhancement. Qualification Requirements

The MPH program is designed for individuals holding an undergraduate degree in science or applied science who are seeking a career in public health. Students with an honours undergraduate degree without a biological focus may be required to complete the Principles of Disease (PATH*3610) distance education course prior to enrolling. A 4 year honours degree and two letters of reference are required. Strong interest in public health must be demonstrated through a one-page statement and a resume outlining past public health exposure. International English Language Testing System (Academic) (IELTS) 6.5 , Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and (TOEFL Special Home Edition (iBT)) 89 A minimum score of 21 must be achieved in each of the four categories (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
