Renowned worldwide, the College of Biological Science is dedicated to advancing knowledge about life at all levels, from genetic building blocks to intricate ecological networks. This academic division fosters bold, cross-disciplinary research within a learning environment focused on students, cultivating deep insights into life's governing systems.
The PHD.MCB program provides five specialization tracks: 1) biochemistry; 2) cell biology; 3) microbiology; 4) molecular biology and genetics; and 5) plant biology. Students can also pursue joint specializations in Neuroscience and Toxicology. This program aims to cultivate autonomous, innovative researchers with expertise in molecular and cellular biology. Alumni emerge ready for scholarly roles in academia, leadership positions in biomedical R&D, industrial sectors, government organizations, and various social institutions.
