This program emphasizes environmental interactions and solutions through a comprehensive approach that combines biophysical and human environmental perspectives. ERM students acquire expertise in natural sciences, learn about their interconnections, develop decision-making tools and techniques, and study essential management and governance approaches for environmental policy. From their first year, students engage in classroom learning complemented by practical lab and field experiences. They are encouraged to create experiments and solve problems using cutting-edge computational and analytical technologies. The program equips future environmental scientists with the necessary knowledge, abilities, and methodologies for careers as environmental consultants, managers, planners, GIS analysts, or for advanced graduate studies.
The Environment and Resource Management Co-op option spans five years and incorporates four work placements.
