The Horticulture program is designed for students seeking to utilize cutting-edge biological science innovations to address modern challenges in horticulture. Ideal for those pursuing careers in commercial greenhouse operations, crop production, plant breeding, tissue culture propagation, or urban landscaping with turfgrass and ornamental plants, this major offers flexibility. The curriculum includes opportunities for hands-on learning through field trips, internships, and independent research projects.

Those wishing to complement their horticultural education with business skills may pursue the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics' Certificate of Business, though this may extend the program duration by one semester.
