B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent.
Prerequisites for MATH 140.
Prerequisites for CMNS 125.
Official transcripts (or interim transcripts) from all post-secondary institutions attended (excluding UFV) showing grade/course achievement as per program entrance requirements. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly to UFV from the originating institution, see the Transfer Credit section for details.
The following must be included:
Official transcript from secondary school
B.C. English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 with a grade of C+ or better (see Note 2)
Evidence of successful completion of the prerequisites for MATH 140
Proof of B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) IBT score of 88 with no section below 20, or paper-based score of 570 with a TWE (essay) score of 4.5 or higher.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic format score of at least 6.5., with no band score less than 6.0.
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) score of at least 85.
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) score of at least 70.
