The Bachelor of Media Arts equips students to meet evolving industry needs in digital media by developing technically proficient, innovative, and team-oriented artists who understand the field's historical context and ethical responsibilities. The program fosters professional communication abilities, creative solution-finding, and project coordination expertise. Specialized concentrations enable students to focus on their professional aspirations and artistic interests. Prospective degree candidates should consult with the Fine Arts, Design, and Media Academic Advisor. Course selection aligned with intended concentrations should begin in the first year, with formal concentration declaration required after completing 15 lower-level core credits and before reaching 60 degree credits. The Academic Advisor and/or School of Creative Arts Director may approve exceptions under special circumstances.Application deadlines:Winter: September 30Summer: February 1Fall: April 15
Applicants must have completed the equivalent of Canadian Grade 12 (Form Six or five O-levels plus at least two A-levels) and specific program entrance requirements for admission into any career, technical, or academic program.
