Develop a strong foundation in contemporary scientific laboratory techniques and research methodologies. The Associate of Science program at UFV spans four semesters, offering flexibility to explore diverse scientific disciplines. Students can select introductory and intermediate courses across subjects including Biology, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics. Many UFV science courses integrate hands-on laboratory sessions with theoretical instruction, enabling students to master practical experimental techniques valued in current industries. With smaller class sizes, UFV fosters personalized academic support from instructors, enhancing student success. Graduates emerge with sharpened critical thinking skills and are well-equipped to either enter the workforce or pursue advanced studies through a Bachelor of Science program.
