The Associate of Arts is a two-year academic credential awarded upon completing a structured program. This qualification can serve as a stepping stone for students aiming to transfer to UFV degree programs or other schools, or as a professional certification. Learners can choose among four pathways to meet general education requirements or focus on specialized areas.

International and Development Studies concentration
Media and Communication Studies specialization

This curriculum offers diverse intellectual exploration valuable for students pursuing careers or education in humanities, creative arts, and social sciences. UFV's Associate of Arts program satisfies all minimum standards set by the B.C. Ministry of Advanced Education.
Since transfer policies and degree specifications differ significantly, prospective transfer students should meet with an Academic Advisor to ensure their coursework aligns with their target institution's program requirements.
