The PHASER (Physics and Astronomy Education Research) group unites individuals from varied backgrounds with a common goal of enhancing educational practices. Our welcoming community offers opportunities for both research and professional growth, catering to everyone from instructors at all levels (undergraduates, graduates, and faculty) to those seeking to refine their teaching methods. We welcome participants ranging from those establishing connections in education to specialists and leaders aiming to advance the broader educational landscape. Our work centers on Physics Education Research (PER) and Astronomy Education Research (AER) as part of the wider Discipline-Based Education Research (DBER) field, along with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
