The Kinesiology PhD is a research-focused, thesis-driven program. Research spans physiological, biomechanical, behavioral, and psychosocial aspects of human movement, along with examining societal and cultural shifts in physical activity's role.

Our Kinesiology doctoral program provides a dynamic, collaborative, and interdisciplinary research setting. Students choose our School to collaborate with particular faculty researchers, gaining from their specialized knowledge. Through a mentorship approach, candidates receive intensive guidance and training from dedicated faculty. Competitive funding packages, including teaching assistantships and entrance awards, are available for top applicants.
