The curriculum offers diverse course options spanning Asian, Canadian, European, Latin American, and American histories, while exploring key themes including cultural developments, environmental changes, political systems, social structures, global perspectives, and scientific advancements.
History focuses on investigating past events and societies. While incorporating methodologies and information from social sciences and humanities, it fundamentally analyzes temporal patterns through specialized historical research techniques. By studying human experiences across countless contexts, history enhances our comprehension of human potential and limitations. This discipline cultivates critical thinking skills for evidence-based analysis and distinguishing factual information from biased narratives. Students can pursue History as a Minor, Major, or Honours specialization.
