Cognitive Systems operates at the crossroads of computer science, linguistics, philosophy, and psychology. This field examines the mechanisms that facilitate human thought, the systems that influence our cognitive processes, and artificial constructs that simulate aspects of cognition.
Our program teaches, applies, and reimagines the most crucial 21st-century tools—those that organizations, businesses, and governments seek to leverage. We possess expertise in data interpretation while recognizing that data requires contextual understanding. We're skilled at designing efficient cognitive architectures and comprehend the ethical challenges involved.
Enrolled in the Cognitive Systems program, you'll gain practical research opportunities that prepare you to explore scientific frontiers, advancing knowledge about the most complex aspects of human cognition that continue to challenge researchers.
