Computer Engineering teaches you to create, build, and evaluate software, network systems, and communication protocols. From smartphones to vehicles, aircraft to robotics, every automated system relies on the expertise of software and hardware engineers.
The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) program spans three eight-month academic terms, available after first-year Engineering or through a Science transfer program. Both Electrical and Computer Engineering share a common second year. This year offers two approaches: an experimental project-based track that combines ECE fundamentals with hands-on projects, and the conventional integrated learning approach. Recent updates to the undergraduate program enhance lab experience and design focus while maintaining rigorous analytical training. Students may specialize in Software Engineering or pursue an Honours Mathematics Minor.
