Qualification Requirements

Minimum admission requirements are an undergraduate degree with an admission GPA of at least 3.0 on the 4-point scale from the University of Alberta, or an equivalent qualification and standing from a recognized institution.

English Language Requirement:

  • TOEFL: total score of 90 with a score of at least 21 on each of the individual skill areas (internet-based) or equivalent
  • Applicants must have a minimum overall Academic IELTS score of 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 on each band
  • PTE Academic: 61 with a minimum band score of 60.

For international students, the application deadlines are June 1 for September entrance, October 1 for January entrance, February 1 for May entrance, and April 1 for July entrance.
