The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences provides multidisciplinary education and research across various fields. As one of Canada's most prominent and well-funded departments, it's globally renowned for pioneering research. Founded in 1995 through the merger of the Geology (1912) and Geography (1957) departments, EAS now boasts over 50 faculty members and more than 120 graduate students.
