The Department of Human Ecology provides both coursework-focused and thesis-driven Master's degree options. The coursework programs are professional degrees designed primarily for working professionals seeking to enhance their current expertise, develop new skills, or shift their specialization. Along with mandatory courses, students in these programs must complete a culminating project that applies their learning directly to professional practice. While completion times for thesis-based Master's degrees vary by student, those with relevant academic backgrounds typically finish within two years of full-time study. The coursework program is structured for completion within one year of full-time enrollment, with flexible options for part-time students.
