Designers are driven by societal demands to pioneer new solutions. They examine what communities require and develop innovations that influence our environment's appearance and operation. Our Industrial Design curriculum equips you to craft items and services that inform, amuse, instruct, and contribute to enhancing human health and quality of life.
Throughout our four-year Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree, you'll master strategic techniques for generating and employing drawings, prototypes, and visuals to convey concepts across various products - ranging from electronics packaging and furnishings to medical devices, brand identity systems, wayfinding solutions, applications, and exhibition installations.
Designers' inventive thinking impacts nearly every item we interact with daily, from seating to vehicles. Industrial Design professionals generate ideas and transform them into tangible representations through drawings, physical models, and digital tools - ultimately producing goods that captivate, enlighten, teach, delight, and motivate users. They develop arrangements for physical or digital presentations and oversee the manufacturing and execution of their creations.
