The MAg program is a two-year, course-focused graduate degree tailored for working professionals from government, industry, or private sectors seeking career advancement through specialized training. Our Department features internationally recognized research facilities that enhance graduate education in key areas including agricultural production, rangeland stewardship, plant and animal biology, food processing technologies, and nutritional health sciences.

Qualification Requirements

Four-year undergraduate degree (preferably Science or Engineering based), or its academic equivalent, from a recognized institution, and:
Grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 out of 4.0 or B+ on a letter-based scale in the last two years (approximately 60 credits) of post-secondary study.
TOEFL iBT, in-person or special at-home edition - Total score of 90 with a score of at least 21 on each of the individual skill areas (internet-based) or equivalent. IELTS - 6.5, with at least 6.0 on each test band. Canadian Academic English Language Assessment - Overall 70 with at least 60 on each subtest.
