The Clean Energy and Sustainable Processes Option centers on the foundational Chemical Engineering curriculum. Participants in this program will develop comprehensive knowledge of core concepts, along with practical experience, in fields including renewable energy generation, electrochemical systems, energy storage and conversion methods, fuel cell technology, hydrogen generation, and carbon sequestration. This specialized track is completed within the framework of a Chemical Engineering degree program.
This program does not allow admission directly from high school. See requirements below for more details.
Foundational/Qualifying Year: All students in this first year of study follow a common curriculum. At the end of the year, students choose among the various specialized Engineering programs offered and between the traditional and cooperative education streams. Transfer Students: Students with transferable post-secondary coursework taken outside of the Faculty of Engineering are considered for admission based on GPA and relevant transfer credit.
