Our program provides training in multiple widely-spoken languages that students can choose as a primary or secondary focus within a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree. The Secondary Education curriculum features two practical teaching components: a five-week Introductory Professional Term (IPT) and a more intensive nine-week Advanced Professional Term (APT). Students typically instruct in their primary subject area during both terms. While designed as a four-year course of study, this program also accommodates those pursuing it as a post-degree qualification. Graduates become eligible for Alberta teaching certification upon successful completion.
