If you're uncertain about which Arts discipline to specialize in, you can begin with an Undeclared major during your first year. This allows you to explore up to three potential majors by taking relevant courses. By the end of your first year, you can formally declare your major without delaying your progress in that program. Augustana's compact campus is situated in Camrose, Alberta, merely an hour's drive southeast of Edmonton. This liberal arts and sciences institution hosts approximately 1,000 students hailing from throughout Canada and internationally. Augustana provides degree programs in a close-knit environment, featuring average class sizes of 22 students. The academic schedule consists of an intensive three-week period focused on one course, followed by an 11-week term where students can take up to four courses. This unique structure enables deeper engagement with research, travel opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences while simultaneously alleviating academic pressure.
