This program examines the connections between legal systems, political structures, and societal dynamics, as well as interactions between citizens and government. Students investigate criminal activity and its causes, legal development processes, and how legislation and unlawful acts intersect with social equity and disparity concerns. Our interdisciplinary method enables students to examine various dimensions of jurisprudence, criminality, and fairness. A key emphasis of our curriculum involves analyzing the roles of gender, socioeconomic status, and cultural background. Grasping how these elements influence legal frameworks, criminal patterns, and systemic prejudice is crucial for tackling significant challenges within Canada's judicial framework.
