MBA in Non-Profit & Charitable Organizations: equips leaders in the non-profit sector to enhance mission-driven success while navigating complex challenges and resource constraints. This MBA track emphasizes developing essential management competencies, making it valuable for both non-profit executives and board members. As one of only two such programs in Canada, this specialization trains future non-profit leaders to derive both personal satisfaction and professional growth from steering purpose-driven enterprises. The curriculum enhances students' capabilities to elevate organizational impact and mission achievement.
All MBA candidates complete foundational courses through in-person instruction at TWU's scenic Langley campus. The Non-Profit Management specialization follows an intensive residency format: a three-week August session plus one June week in the first year, followed by another August residency and two shorter three-day sessions (January and April) in the second year. These immersive blocks combine approximately 35 classroom hours with pre- and post-residency online coursework. The residency model provides rich opportunities for direct interaction, peer networking, and professional development with faculty and colleagues.
The MBA program requires a GPA of at least 3.0 based on the final two years of your undergraduate program.
International applicants are required to submit either a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) minimum score of 100 iBT or equivalent or an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score of 7.0 on all bands as a proof of your English language abilities.
