The need for skilled business professionals in sports keeps growing, creating significant societal influence.

Select either a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (BHK) with a Sport and Leisure Management specialization or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sport and Leisure Management, featuring coursework in PR, communications, and advanced marketing. A community internship allows students to explore career paths post-graduation. Past partners include Athletes In Action, BC Lions, Langley Chiefs, Langley Sportsplex, Langley Twin Rinks, Vancouver Canucks, and Vancouver Giants. BA students must complete 6 semester hours of internships, while BHK students can opt for a 3-semester-hour internship to fulfill leadership credit requirements.

Qualification Requirements

Students must have standing in five subjects of which at least two must be taken at the Advanced level.

The following equivalents will be considered:

School Certificate: same as GCE with at least two passes at the principal level of the Higher School Certificate.

Certificate of matriculation from recognized universities.

International Baccalaureate with at least two subjects at the higher level.

Other countries: write or email the Admissions Office for information.

Applicants must demonstrate English Language Proficiency in both oral and written academic English:

TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language Internet-Based Test): Overall Score: 88 with a minimum score of 21 in each of the four areas and a TWE of at least 5.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System (Academic)): Overall score: 6.5 with 6.0 on Writing Band

CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment): Overall score: 70
