Our curriculum examines both historical and modern viewpoints, encouraging students to analyze evolving international relations. We strongly recommend studying abroad to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings. Students often gain practical experience through placements at Ottawa's Laurentian Leadership Centre. Submit official TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English Qualifications, PTE Academic, CAEL, or Duolingo exam results, meeting the admission requirements in the table below. Test results are valid for admission to TWU for up to two years from the examination date. Tests taken more than two years prior will not be valid for admission. These results must be submitted at the time of application. TOEFL - Overall Score 88 or higher with minimum score of 20 in each band. IELTS - Overall score 6.5 or higher with minimum score of 6.0 in Writing/Reading and 5.5 in Speaking/Listening.
