If you love using your hands to help others look and feel their best, becoming an Esthetician or Medical Esthetician could be your ideal career path.
By enrolling in SLC's Esthetician program, you'll receive top-tier training – considered among the finest not only in Ontario but across Canada.
Our on-campus salon, Dynamic Designs, allows students to hone their skills by working with real clients from the community. Beyond hands-on training, the curriculum emphasizes essential business and interpersonal skills, covering professional ethics, salon management, client relations, sales techniques, and workplace professionalism.
Staying ahead of industry trends, we teach both fundamental and advanced techniques, including medical esthetics procedures. With the beauty sector experiencing continuous growth, career possibilities for esthetics professionals are expanding rapidly. Graduates can explore diverse opportunities, from launching home-based businesses to working in medical spas or even joining luxury cruise ship spa teams.
The program includes two intensive 35-hour work placements, providing valuable real-world spa experience and potential job prospects. Many students secure part-time positions in the esthetics field immediately after their first placement.
We encourage students to complete placements in locations matching their career aspirations. Numerous students have gained experience in various Canadian cities and international destinations.
