This program equips students with essential information security principles, along with the technical and hands-on skills needed to safeguard network infrastructures and protect an organization's critical data assets.
The coursework offers comprehensive coverage of cybersecurity fundamentals, industry-standard security practices, and core protective measures to defend against fraud, data leaks, and other security threats. Designed to train digital security experts, the program develops competencies in risk management, policy development, security framework implementation, risk assessment, and deployment of sophisticated security measures.
The expanding field of internet security demands thorough knowledge of cyber threats, basic web infrastructure, and communication protocols. Students will also learn critical network security techniques including packet inspection, vulnerability assessment, exploit analysis, and cybersecurity investigation methods. Special emphasis is placed on addressing security weaknesses in vehicles and transportation systems. Successful applicants will have a background in Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology - Networking, Computer Systems Technician - Networking, Computer Programming, Web Development and Internet Applications, Mobile Applications Development or Engineering Programs.
English Proficiency Requirements:
IELTS overall band of 6.0.
PTE (Pearson Test of English) minimum score 60
TOEFL overall 83.
CAEL minimum score 60
CELPIP General 7.0 in each module.
