The Earth sciences encompass diverse fields where both theoretical and practical studies are conducted to understand the mechanisms behind our planet's formation and development. The Master of Science (MSc) program blends academic instruction with hands-on research, equipping students for diverse career paths in geoscience.
In Earth Sciences, graduate students undertake self-directed research for M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees across multiple specialties that examine geological, geochemical, and geophysical phenomena affecting Earth. EASC research initiatives often incorporate fieldwork, lab analysis, and data-driven investigations. This program supports your academic interests while building foundations for numerous professional prospects.
Applicants should normally have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, or equivalent, with at least a good second class standing (3.0 GPA) in the Earth sciences or a related discipline.
