This program is designed for students seeking to develop speaking and reading abilities in an Indigenous language, whether to teach it in educational settings or strengthen their linguistic skills for cultural preservation or career advancement. The certificate offers flexible full-time or part-time study options. Proficient speakers may receive advanced placement for up to nine units through course challenges. Credits can be earned for a particular language by passing an examination administered by a qualified instructor, subject to departmental approval.

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses
IELTS - All test formats accepted with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. TOEFL IBT- Overall score 88 with no part less than 20
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)- Overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing
